Hello and a very warm welcome to my website. My name is Emma-Jane LaRoche BA (Hons) Humanistic Counselling and I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) covering Helensburgh and surrounding villages in Dunbartonshire.
I am BACP Registered Counsellor offering online and phone counselling during the current CORONAVIRUS COVID-19 pandemic .
I provide individual counselling for Adults and Young people 18yrs + where you can share your worries and talk about your difficulties in a confidential, supportive and compassionate environment.
I offer both day-time and evening appointments.
Coronavirus Covid - 19 may bring up its' own unique set of challenges when it comes to our Mental Health. Anxiety, stress, bereavement and relationship issues are just some of the issues that are particularly prevalent during this uncertain time.
Whether you are self-isolating, a key worker, coping with bereavement or struggling to make sense of the world, talking about your worries allows you the opportunity to share your thoughts and feelings in a safe space.

What to expect
Each counselling session lasts 50 minutes and in the initial meeting we talk about what has brought you to counselling.
An assessment will be carried out in the first session where I will ask some questions and then explain how the counselling process works.
It will give you the opportunity to ask questions and discuss any worries and concerns you may have and then between us we agree to the frequency and time that these sessions will take place.
As a qualified counsellor I am also a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I abide by their Code of Ethics and Good Practice.
