Emma-Jane LaRoche B.A. (Hons) Counselling & Psychotherapy MBACP based in Guildford, Surrey near Ascot, Bracknell, Staines and Camberley
Hello and a very warm welcome to my website. My name is Emma-Jane LaRoche BA (Hons) Humanistic Counselling and I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) based in Guildford in Surrey.
I provide individual counselling for Adults and and Young people 16years + where you can share your worries and talk about your difficulties in a confidential, supportive and compassionate environment.
I offer both day-time and evening appointments.
A safe place for you to discuss your problems and worries!
We are now living in a busy world where sometimes the pressures of family life and work commitments can become overwhelming. Worries over relationships with family members, friends or work colleagues can sometimes lead to frustration, anger, sadness, confusion and even fear.
This can result in low self-esteem and/or anxiety, affecting both your self-confidence and your life. You may start questioning yourself and fear making mistakes at work, with family members or other important relationships.
Talking about your relationships, expressing your grief over a loved one or not understanding why negative things may continue to impact on your life, counselling offers an empathic and compassionate space to help you move towards feeling happier, more confident and more positive about your life.
I also work with individuals who have learning differences such as ADHD and ADD.
Some issues I work with
When talking with friends and family doesn't always help!
It’s not always that easy to talk through issues with friends and family. Although well meaning, the advice and opinions from our family and friends doesn't always give us the answers we need. Feeling overwhelmed, with no sense of direction can be the point at which we feel that professional help may be what's needed.
Counselling offers an insight and different perspective into your particular issues and determines why you may repeatedly find yourself in the same negative situations or why other people just don't seem to understand! I will be there alongside you to support you in making the relevant changes you need to move forward.
141 Counselling provides therapy for clients in Surrey at both Guildford and Windlesham. If you would like to find out more please call me where we can discuss if counselling is right for your particular difficulties.
